Family demands justice after two senior students allegedly kill 15-year-old Air Force student in Kaduna. The incident occurred post-exam at Air Force Comprehensive School, sparking demands for a thorough investigation and justice by the victim's family.
The family of Felix Aliyu, a 15-year-old student at Air Force Comprehensive School in Kaduna, is calling for a thorough investigation into his death.
Aliyu, recently appointed deputy head boy, was allegedly killed on June 19 by two outgoing senior students who had just completed their Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE) and were waiting to write the National Examination Council (NECO) exam. Paul Samson, Aliyu’s nephew, described him as a brilliant and disciplined student. He emphasized the family's shock and urged the school and Nigerian Air Force (NAF) authorities to ensure justice is served.
Samson expressed confidence in the integrity of the school and NAF, believing that the perpetrators would be brought to justice. NAF spokesperson Edward Gabkwet confirmed the commencement of a thorough investigation to avoid speculation and uncover the truth behind the incident.
Gabkwet assured that the matter is being treated with utmost urgency and that the NAF family, led by Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, is deeply saddened by Aliyu’s untimely death.
The incident has prompted calls for transparency and accountability within the school and military community, with the Aliyu family and the public eagerly awaiting the results of the investigation.
The family's demand for justice highlights the need for stricter measures to prevent such tragedies in educational institutions and ensure the safety and well-being of students. The case remains under active investigation, with assurances from the authorities that all necessary steps will be taken to provide justice for Felix Aliyu and his family.
