Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for laying the foundation of "the origin of modern Lagos" approximately 20 years ago.
During the President's visit to the Lagos House, Marina, Governor Sanwo-Olu acknowledged Tinubu's leadership, praising him for accepting to represent Lagos at the federal level.
The governor highlighted that his administration continues to build on the legacy and blueprint established by Tinubu. Sanwo-Olu emphasized the relevance of Tinubu's contributions, citing the 20th-anniversary milestone of LAMATA, a transportation initiative initiated by Tinubu.
In response, Tinubu commended the governor and his deputy for their commitment, acknowledging the challenges they faced in developing Lagos into the most viable state in Nigeria.
