The Lagos State Police Command has yet to officially receive the autopsy report of the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad, even though it was completed two months ago. Following Mohbad's murder on September 12, an autopsy was conducted after the singer's body was exhumed.

The police formed an investigation team to uncover the circumstances surrounding his death. In October, the late singer's murder was linked to several main suspects, including then-Commissioner of Police Idowu Owohunwa. Charges were brought against some of the suspects.

Last Friday, the state Police Command released singers Naira Marley and Sam Larry after they fulfilled bail requirements. Responding to inquiries about the release of Mohbad's autopsy report, Benjamin Hundeyin, the police's public relations officer, stated that the report had not been officially received by the command, emphasizing that they operate based on facts, not rumors.
