The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced a rescheduling of the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination into Federal Unity Colleges and the Entrance Examination into Federal Government Academy, Suleja, Niger State.

According to NECO spokesperson Azeez Sani, the common entrance exam initially set for April 20, 2024, will now take place on June 1, 2024. Similarly, the Entrance Examination for Gifted and Talented Children into Federal Government Academy, Suleja, originally scheduled for May 4, 2024, has been moved to May 25, 2024. This decision was prompted by low enrolment of candidates.

NECO urges all candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and stakeholders to make note of the new examination dates. Registration for candidates will continue until the rescheduled examination dates.

This adjustment aims to ensure adequate participation and fairness in the examination process, aligning with NECO's commitment to conducting examinations that accurately reflect candidates' abilities and aspirations.
