Marketers will begin lifting petrol from Dangote Refinery starting this Sunday, as part of efforts to enhance Nigeria’s fuel supply. According to sources, 25 million litres of refined petrol will be distributed daily through NNPC Trading Limited.
Despite this development, the pump price of petrol will remain unchanged. Marketers have been instructed to send their trucks to the refinery to facilitate the lifting process, which is expected to alleviate supply challenges faced by consumers.
Dangote Refinery, located in Lagos’ Lekki Free Trade Zone, represents a significant step towards reducing Nigeria's reliance on imported petroleum products and boosting the nation's economic growth.
