Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has addressed the growing economic challenges faced by Nigerians under Bola Tinubu's administration, urging Seyi Tinubu, the president's son, to intervene.
Aigbe's impassioned plea comes in response to Seyi's earlier call for citizens to endure present hardships as a sacrifice for a brighter future. Aigbe, however, decries the unbearable conditions, citing soaring prices of essential commodities and sharing a video depicting the struggles of citizens receiving charity aid.
In her Instagram post, she appeals directly to Seyi Tinubu, imploring him to "please, beg your father for us," emphasizing that "enough is enough."
The actress's plea resonates with frustrated Nigerians, as evidenced by protests in Ibadan, where citizens labeled Mr. Tinubu as a "thief" incapable of improving their lives.
