Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, recently visited minors held for their alleged involvement in the #EndBadGovernance protests. The visit, which reportedly took place at midnight, was part of the government’s assurance that the detained minors would receive fair treatment and that their rights would be safeguarded throughout legal proceedings. These minors are among a group of 72 individuals facing serious charges, including accusations of treason.

During her visit, Sulaiman-Ibrahim emphasized that the ministry would oversee the welfare of the detained children, ensuring that their rights remain protected under Nigerian law.
