President Bola Tinubu has greenlit the appointment of Mohammed Abba Isa as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on Disability Matters. The announcement, made by Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), underscores Tinubu's commitment to inclusivity within the Renewed Hope Agenda. Isa, recognized for his decade-long advocacy for persons with disabilities, brings a wealth of experience to the role.

A Public Administration graduate with honors from the University of Maiduguri, Isa earned his Masters in Public Administration in 2017. Tasked by President Tinubu, Isa is charged with spearheading the integration of Persons With Disabilities (PWD) perspectives into the policies of all Federal Government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). The President emphasizes proactive measures to foster inclusion, urging collaboration with sub-national authorities to establish a national consensus on PWD-friendly policies. Isa's appointment reflects a strategic move to address the needs of every societal segment under the President's agenda.
