On October 6, 2023, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, provided a shocking update on the mysterious death of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. During a press briefing at the state Command headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos, CP Owohunwa revealed that Mohbad had suffered alarming symptoms after being injected three times by a nurse named Feyisayo Ogedemgbe on September 12, 2023.
The CP stated that Mohbad's condition rapidly deteriorated after the injections, causing him to vomit and develop goosebumps. This revelation came as part of the preliminary reports from the police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the singer's untimely death.
CP Owohunwa further disclosed that a total of 26 witnesses had been interviewed during the course of the investigation. These witnesses included Mohbad's family members, such as his father, mother, sisters, brother, wife, and manager, as well as others connected to the case.
Tragically, Mohbad was brought to the hospital already deceased, and doctors on duty certified his death on September 12. The nurse, Feyisayo Ogedemgbe, had been summoned by Mohbad's friend, Ayobami Sodiq, who is also known as Spending, to administer the injections at the singer's residence. These injections are believed to have triggered a series of reactions that ultimately led to Mohbad's tragic demise.
