The family of former ophthalmic nurse Taiwo Owoeye is in mourning as she was allegedly strangled to death by her husband, David Abodunde, in their Suffolk home.
The mother of three had reported an assault by her husband to the police the day before her tragic demise. Police responding to the call found Taiwo lifeless in the living room, and despite efforts to revive her, paramedics declared her dead.
David Abodunde was subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder. Married in 2016, the couple had relocated to the UK earlier this year. Taiwo's brother, Alex Owoeye, confirmed the husband as the sole murderer, expressing grief over the loss.
