In a recent appearance on the renowned Channels Television program, Sunday Politics, David Umahi, Minister of Works and former governor of Ebonyi State, made headlines with his bold proclamation regarding the future of Nigeria's presidency. Speaking on the show, Umahi asserted that President Bola Tinubu's victory in the upcoming 2023 presidential election was nothing short of divine intervention.
Drawing from his own spiritual convictions, Umahi declared, "You called me a pastor but I am also a prophet, and you must know the coming of Mr. President is divine." With unwavering conviction, he emphasized that God had communicated to him that Tinubu's administration would span eight years, firmly rooting it as a mandate from the divine.
Umahi's fervent belief in the righteousness of Tinubu's leadership was palpable as he expressed his confidence in the current administration's ability to rectify past grievances and restore power to the people. "He is giving back this country to Nigerians," Umahi affirmed, attributing the ongoing transformation to a higher purpose.
However, amidst Umahi's prophetic proclamations, controversy simmered regarding the proposed utilization of concrete technology for various road projects across the nation. Umahi noted the skepticism and criticism from some members of the National Assembly concerning this technological approach. Despite the opposition, Umahi remained steadfast in his support for concrete technology, emphasizing its potential benefits for Nigeria's infrastructure development.
