The Federal Government of Nigeria has disclosed the resolution of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) visa ban on Nigerians, with an official announcement expected imminently.

Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, addressed criticisms from Osita Chidoka, former Minister of Aviation, emphasizing the importance of resolving diplomatic issues. Keyamo highlighted the significance of the UAE for Nigerian travelers and investors, asserting that the visa ban has been resolved, with an announcement impending.

This development follows earlier claims of visa ban removal by the presidency, later clarified by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Tinubu and subsequent assertions from the federal government on September 11 regarding the lifting of the UAE visa ban.
