President Bola Tinubu has appealed for patience from Nigerians in the face of the current economic hardships, asserting that the nation will overcome these challenges.
During his visit to the leader of the pan-Yoruba sociopolitical organization, Afenifere, Tinubu acknowledged his responsibility for the difficulties citizens are facing due to government policies. Despite facing criticism, especially regarding the fuel subsidy removal and economic reforms, Tinubu affirmed his commitment to leading Nigeria toward economic prosperity and fiscal responsibility.
The President emphasized the need for institutional reforms, true federalism, and equitable development across geopolitical zones. While addressing the mourning family of the late former Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, Tinubu extended condolences and vowed to navigate Nigeria through its current economic twists and turns.
