The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has urged former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to exclude Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso from his efforts to challenge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's election at the Supreme Court. Atiku had called on Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso, presidential candidates of the Labour Party and NNPP, to join him in exposing President Tinubu's alleged secrets during a press conference.
However, Prince Nwaeze Onu, the acting deputy national chairman of NNPP, clarified the party's position, stating that NNPP is not involved in any court case and does not want to be perceived as an outsider in such matters. He emphasized the party's commitment to Nigeria and its decision not to approach the court in this situation.
Atiku's call for collaboration may not find resonance with all opposition parties, as each makes strategic decisions based on its own priorities and objectives.
