Actor Jonathan Majors received a sentencing without jail time on Monday, April 8, in his assault case involving his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Facing up to one year in jail for the alleged incident of roughing up Jabbari in March 2023, Majors appeared at the New York court accompanied by his girlfriend, Meagan Good, looking solemn and declining to answer questions.

The verdict followed a two-week trial where witnesses testified about the events, including the alleged altercation in the back of a rideshare vehicle. Although the surveillance footage inside the car wasn't available, jurors reviewed footage of the incident outside the vehicle.

Instead of incarceration, Majors received a one-year intervention program to be completed in Los Angeles. The program entails 12 months of weekly counseling sessions over 52 weeks. Failure to comply could result in jail time, as warned by the District Attorney's office.

The guilty verdict has already led to significant professional consequences for Majors, who has been removed from multiple Hollywood projects, including his role as Kang the Conqueror in Marvel projects.

In an interview with ABC News, Majors maintained his innocence while expressing regret over his handling of the situation with Jabbari.
