Renowned Nollywood figure and CEO of Andy Best Electronic Limited, Andy Ikechukwu Nnadi, known as Andy Best, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, at a private hospital in Owerri, Imo state.
The filmmaker, who hailed from Umunkwo village in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo state, held the chieftaincy title of Akudinanwa. Andy Best was a prominent figure in the Nigerian movie industry, with his production company, Andy Best Production, delivering notable films like ‘The Lion of Africa,’ ‘White Poison,’ and ‘My Father’s Cup.’
His death comes after battling an undisclosed illness. His remains have been laid to rest at the Aladinma Mortuary in Owerri.
