The Ekiti State Police Command has confirmed the killing and abduction of worshippers during an attack on a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eda Oniyo, Ilejemeje Local Government Area. Police Public Relations Officer SP Abutu Sunday said in a statement on Wednesday that five gunmen stormed the church around 10:30 pm while members were holding an all-night prayer service on the outskirts of the town, fatally shooting the pastor and abducting some church members.
