President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's camp responded to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar's criticism of the administration's handling of the country's security crisis.
The Presidency, through Mr. Bayo Onanuga, described Atiku's comments as "reckless" and accused him of seizing any opportunity to attack Tinubu due to lingering bitterness from his electoral defeat.
Onanuga asserted that President Tinubu, currently on a private visit to France, is actively engaged with domestic matters, providing necessary support to security agencies to combat criminal elements.
The statement emphasized Tinubu's commitment to addressing security challenges and highlighted recent successes, including arrests and rescues.
