Portable, the controversial Nigerian singer, claims that Ogun state authorities vandalized his bar, arrested over 20 people, and seized items. The Ogun State Planning Authority denies these allegations, with officials accusing Portable of assaulting officers during their visit. Portable calls for a government investigation into the incident.

Controversial singer Portable has accused the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA) of vandalizing his bar and arresting over 20 individuals at his Odogwu bar in Ifo. He claims that officers seized vehicles, gadgets, and personal items, and sealed another of his properties. Portable also posted a letter from the OGPDPA stating that his property was built without proper permits and lacked the necessary air space. He appealed to the Ogun state government for investigation, highlighting his contributions to local development, including organizing events, providing jobs, and repairing roads.

In response, Ogun State Commissioner for Physical Planning, Olatunji Odunlami, dismissed Portable's accusations as false. He claimed that Portable attacked government officers while they were serving notices and assaulted one of them, leading to the officers fleeing. According to Odunlami, Portable's vehicle and brother were detained at the police station, and the singer later went into hiding. The commissioner urged Portable to report any grievances to the police instead of airing them on social media.
