Singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, fulfilled his commitment to perform at the Celestial Church of Christ, Goshen Land Cathedral, in Lagos State on Friday, December 15. Two weeks prior, a flyer announcing Portable as a guest artist had sparked controversy online. In response to the widespread criticism, the church initially retracted the invitation, stating that Portable would no longer be part of the event. Despite this, Portable remained adamant about his participation.
On the night of the praise event, Portable arrived at the venue and delivered an energetic performance, living up to the anticipation. The church also hosted renowned Fuji singer, Pasuma, during the program. Just before Portable took the stage, the church's pastor acknowledged the buzz around the singer, expressing awareness that Portable's presence had attracted a significant portion of the audience.
