Bayo Onanuga, the spokesperson for President Tinubu, refuted previous claims of the visa ban being lifted and clarified the situation on X app.
He disclosed that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has not resumed issuing visas to Nigerians. Onanuga emphasized that the document circulating, asserting the lifting of the ban, lacks authorization from either the Nigerian government or the UAE.
This contradicts earlier information shared by Onanuga, highlighting the importance of accurate updates regarding travel restrictions and visa policies between the two nations.
