The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) finds itself in the midst of controversy as it deletes a tweet containing a prophecy from its General Overseer, Pastor E.A. Adeboye.
In the now-removed tweet, Pastor Adeboye prophesied, "Before this time next year, your colleagues will be coming to you for food. They will be coming to you for refreshment. I decree that in your family, you will be the go-to person in Jesus' name." Despite the resounding "Amen" from congregants in an accompanying online video, the tweet faced severe backlash on X platform, where users criticized the church for its unconventional prayer.
