Leaders and diplomats attending the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York have been reported to be indulging in extravagant spending on high-end prostitutes and VIP strip clubs. According to sources cited by The New York Post, these sessions of sexual activity can cost as much as $5,000.
The UNGA has brought together world leaders and diplomats from 193 nations to discuss critical global issues such as the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, and climate change.
Government officials, including President Bola Tinubu and his delegation, have been attending the UNGA during the day to engage in discussions about vital international matters. However, at night, some officials have reportedly sought the services of prostitutes to relieve stress, despite the high costs involved.
Many of these escorts are said to have been flown in from Las Vegas and Europe to meet with foreign emissaries in New York's five-star hotels. Diplomats, fearing potential sex scandals, often meet the courtesans in hotels rather than at their designated accommodations to avoid exposure that could harm their political careers and reputations.
Reportedly, diplomats from conservative countries, where their sexual desires may remain unfulfilled, take advantage of the discreet services offered in New York. Some officials have also allegedly spent substantial amounts on VIP private rooms in strip clubs, paying anywhere from $50,000 to $100,000 in a single night.
