The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to kick off their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign, with their first match against the Crocodiles of Lesotho scheduled for November 17. This much-anticipated game will be held at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

Shortly after that, the Nigerian team will face the Warriors of Zimbabwe on November 20 at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.

The matchday schedule was shared via the Super Eagles X Twitter handle.

In the same qualifying group, Nigeria will compete against South Africa, Rwanda, and Benin Republic, which is managed by the former Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr.

The team that finishes at the top of the group will secure an automatic spot in the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

This campaign is especially significant for the Super Eagles, as they failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after a playoff round loss to perennial rival Ghana. Nigerian fans are eagerly awaiting these matches as the team seeks to secure their place in the world's premier football competition
