Nigeria's national football team, the Super Eagles, have revealed their squad for upcoming friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique. Head coach Jose Peseiro has called up 25 players for the matches.
Notable inclusions in the squad are Hatayspor midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who has been in fine form this season with four goals and two assists in seven appearances. Meanwhile, Gent forward Gift Orban has not been selected, with Nice star Terem Moffi earning a call-up after being left out of the previous game against Sao Tome and Principe.
The squad comprises a mix of domestic and foreign-based players, with goalkeepers like Francis Uzoho and Olorunleke Ojo, defenders including Olaoluwa Aina and Kenneth Omeruo, and midfielders like Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi. The attacking lineup features players like Kelechi Iheanacho, Samuel Chukwueze, and Victor Osimhen.
The team is set to commence its camp on October 10th in Faro, Portugal, with a match against Saudi Arabia scheduled for October 13th, followed by a game against Mozambique three days later.
