Nigerian President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on a three-day official trip to Equatorial Guinea, starting Wednesday. The visit, announced by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, will see Tinubu travel from Abuja to Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea.
The purpose of the visit, which comes at the invitation of Equatorial Guinea's President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, is to bolster the diplomatic and economic relations between the two nations. Tinubu's schedule includes a high-level meeting with President Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa. The discussions are expected to focus on key areas including oil and gas, as well as security cooperation.
Accompanying President Tinubu will be Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Tuggar and other cabinet members, who will play a crucial role in the negotiations and signing of various agreements. This visit aims to enhance bilateral cooperation and explore new opportunities for collaboration between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
