President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigerians to unite and shift their focus away from an obsession with money. Speaking during a meeting with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Tinubu urged the group to help spread the message against corruption.
"We must change our mindset and not make money our god. Nigeria will flourish if we prioritize understanding, tolerance, perseverance, and hope," Tinubu emphasized.
Acknowledging the country's challenges, Tinubu assured that his government is committed to fairness. He invited feedback on government performance and defended the size of his cabinet, emphasizing the need for efficiency.
CAN President Archbishop Okoh expressed support for Tinubu's leadership, describing him as a "listening leader." He assured Tinubu of the association's readiness to partner in nation-building.
