The corpse of Umar Ibrahim, a missing Fulani leader and Ciroma of Kumbun district in Plateau state, has been discovered in an abandoned well in Jokom community, Mangu town. The spokesperson for Operation Safe Haven, Captain Oya James, confirmed the incident. Gan Allah Fulani Development Association of the group (GAFDAN) reported that Ibrahim went missing on Wednesday when he left a hospital to buy food for his sick wife.
Garba Abdullahi, the state chairman of GAFDAN, revealed that after a four-day search, the body was found in a well near the hospital, with soldiers from Operation Safe Haven assisting in the recovery. The group urged its members to remain calm and law-abiding, calling on security agencies to identify and apprehend the perpetrators of the crime.
