The incident, which occurred in Benin, raises questions about the reasons behind her decision. Despite the family's previous interactions with Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Oreofeoluwa expressing his ambition to become a police officer, the tragedy unfolded on Tuesday.

A witness at the scene reported that Toluige had kept her struggles to herself before the fatal act.
