An EFCC Prosecutor, has emphasized that individuals will not be labeled as terrorist financiers without substantial evidence.
Shittu's comments come in response to the recent listing by the Federal Government of approximately 16 individuals, including Bureau de Change operators, as alleged financiers of terrorism.
Amidst ongoing efforts to combat Boko Haram terrorism, which has inflicted significant loss of life over the years, Shittu emphasized the importance of thorough investigations and intelligence gathering preceding the identification of individuals implicated in terrorist financing.
