Elon Musk has declared that select verified X (formerly Twitter) accounts will now receive free access to X Premium features. Musk announced via a post on the platform that accounts with substantial followings will benefit from this initiative.

According to Musk's tweet, accounts with over 2500 verified subscribers will receive Premium features for free, while those with over 5000 followers will be granted access to Premium+ features without charge.

X Premium subscription offers users enhanced visibility, the ability to upload videos up to 3 hours long with a file size of up to 8GB, reduced ads, and access to beta features, among other perks. Additionally, the Premium+ subscription entails benefits such as ad-free browsing and reply prioritization.

This move by Musk is part of the ongoing changes he has been implementing since acquiring the platform in 2022.
