Entertainment Davido, Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Casper Nyomvest Top Channel O Awards 2014 Nominees

This is a good time for Nigerian music as the likes of Davido, Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Dr SID, 2Face, Wizkid, Olamide, Iyanya, P-Square, Flavour, Burna Boy and a host of others have recorded strong chances of winning at the 2014 edition of the Channel O Music Video Awards scheduled for Saturday, November 29 at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Soweto as they were all nominated for awards.

Leading with the most nominees this year is Nigeria’s Davido and new South African Hip Hop star Cassper Nyovest with five nominations each. Davido has 4 nominations in the 14 categories for “Aye” alone.

The Mavins crew are also big contenders – Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage and Dr SID have a combined four nominations. Other Nigerians nominated are 2Face, Wizkid, Olamide, Iyanya, P-Square, Flavour, KCee, Niyola, Jesse Jagz, Orezi, Burna Boy and newcomers Patoranking & Seyi Shay.

I'm happy seeing top names standing by. By the way, where is D'banj? Is he attending a wedding or is he on a pilgrimage without tunes? Dear god of music, why is D'banj not on this list? I thought he was African
