Virginia McLaurin, 106-year old woman says she has been waiting all her life to see an African-American in the White House. So, when she finally got a chance to meet President Obama, she was so excited she couldn’t contain herself – rolling back the years to bust out some dance moves.
McLaurin filed a White House petition in 2014 saying she would like to meet Obama and his family, and repeated her request in a YouTube video uploaded in December, 2014.
So the president invited her to visit on Sunday – and, as the video below shows, she was utterly delighted.
The nimble-footed pensioner, who was born in 1909 in South Carolina, visited the White House to meet the President and his wife, Michelle, to celebrate Black History Month.
