On Friday, about 2,000 youths in Imo state, Nigeria burnt brooms and flags belonging to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to DAILY TRUST, the youths under the auspices of the Imo Grassroots for Goodluck Jonathan Organisation (IGGO) also burnt APC membership cards and symbols in front of the Government House Owerri, declaring it dead in the state.
The youths said their activity was part of the sensitization initiative in support of President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election bid.
