A breakdown of Ministry of Information and Culture allocations in the 2017 budget shows that foreign media Public relations and town hall meetings introduced by the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed will gulp about N370 million.

A further checked by Nigerian Bulletin revealed that about separate N100 million is being budgeted for an "Interaction with stakeholders such as National Uion of Journalists, RATTAWU, NGE, Bloggers and Online Publishers".

This wasteful spending among others in ministries and parastatals show an indication that there is no clear cut between the present APC-led federal government and the former PDP federal arrangement.
