The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) has been instructed to put Apartment 7B, Osborne towers on the market by the committee investigating the $43m slush cash found there, The Nation reports.
The apartment is expected to fetch around N200m, someone close to the matter said.
The committee, led by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, is investigating to see if the Director General of NIA, Ayo Oke, is guilty of any wrongdoing.
“When Oke appeared before the committee, he repeated all these official procedures in the presence of the NSA who did not make any comments.
“It is on this basis that Oke told the committee that the NSA knew about the $43.4m cash. And there has been pressure on the committee to ask NSA to step aside.”
However, a source in the Presidency said the panel saw no reason for Monguno to step aside.
“Some forces are just eager to drag the NSA into this crisis without taking note of the fact that he had nothing to do with it.
