One of the wives of the late business mogul and politician, Chief Moshood Abiola. Mrs. Dupe Onitiri Abiola has said she will contest for the position of Lagos State governor come 2015.
She disclose this to THISDAY during a chat in Lagos, stating that her ambition was to help eradicate poverty in the state and the country as a whole. “My purpose is to eradicate poverty in the country because the prize paid by Mr. Anthony Enahoro, Beko Ransome-Kuti and others couldn’t achieve what we wanted, hence my reason to contest,“ she said.
