Prof. Adewale Oladipo has been elected by the High Court here in Abuja as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Judge, Justice Abdukadir Abdul-Kafarati gave the verdict about the final results and said "I hereby ordered that the election of Prof. Adewale Oladipo as the National Secretary of the Second defendant is upheld". The judge responded to a motion called on by the Ogun State Executive Committee of the party which started to sparkle the need of the election of new Secretary.
The court also ordered the rectification of the records in order to replace the first Secretary.
``I further give a consequential order directing the second and the third (INEC) defendants to comply within three days of this order."
These all proceedings are as a result of the order by the court about the nullification of the appointment of ex-military administrator as the Secretary as court labeled it as "violation of both the courts". AS a result, Olagunsoye Oyinlola had to vacate the seat on 11 Jan which will now be filled amid the new court orders.
