Following the death of a Cameroonian footballer Albert Ebosse,Algerian football authority have indefinitely suspended league matches.

Ebosse was hit by a stone thrown by fans while leaving the pitch after a game last Saturday.

Playing for JS Kabylie,Ebosse scored his side's only goal in their 2-1 loss to USM Alger on that day and was the top goal scorer last season in the Algerian league.

After meeting on Sunday to investigate what really transpired, the Algerian Football Federation made a decision to suspend matches.

In addition, the federation agreed that $100,000 will be given to his family - the money that he would have earned over the period of his contract with Kabylie.

JS Kabylie's players will each donate a month's salary also to his family,in a bid to show solidarity.
