The Nigeria's national U-23 team have been grouped alongside Ghana, Egypt and Senegal in the group stage of the men's category of he 2015 All African Games football event to be staged in Congo Brazzaville.
The draws for the 11th edition of the games, which took place on Thursday morning at the Caf headquarters in Cairo, Egypt while the General Secretary of Caf, Hicham El Amrani, was in charge of the draw and was assisted by Tarig Atta, Deputy General Secretary of the Sudan Football Association.
Hosts country, Congo are in Group A which consists of Sudan, Zimbabwe and Burkina Faso and Nigeria are believed to be in a group of death.
The football event of the quadrennial African multisport event will hold behold September 3-18 2015. Nigeria’s only triumph came on home soil in 1973 in Lagos.
