Politics Atiku, Kwankwaso, Others Want APC Presidential Primaries Moved From Lagos to Abuja

Four out of five presidential aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC want the party's presidential primaries moved from Lagos to Abuja.

According to THIS DAY, the four presidential aspirants who want the venue of the APC presidential primaries changed include; former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; Kano State Governor, Alhaji, Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso; Founder of Leadership Group, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah and Imo State Governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha.

The 4 aspirants are also demanding the cancelation of the delegates’ list from 37 Local Council Development Authorities (LCDAs) of Lagos State which formed part of the list of delegates for the national convention. They are claiming that the LCDAs are not constitutionally recognized.

The party leaders should be as open as possible or risk disunity and chaos after the primaries if some aspirants feel cheated or rigged out of the elections.
I believe the primaries should be moved to Abuja for easy travel for delegates coming from the far north. #ANigeriaForAll.
