Bauchi State governor, Isa Yuguda on Wednesday lost his immediate younger sister, Hajiya Hafsat Yuguda Ibrahim to cancer.
Nigerian state governors through the director general of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Mr. Asishana Okauru released a condolence statement to the bereaved governor, reported Sahara Reporters.
“Mrs. Ibrahim’s departure is deeply painful and devastating. But we take solace in the fact that she lived and died well. She dedicated her life to raising her children and serving her people and country. We believe she will long be remembered for the services she rendered to her community.
“We commiserate with her family, friends and associates, the people and government of Bauchi and pray almighty Allah to give us all the fortitude to bear this great loss.”
