Three persons working for an oil servicing firm were reportedly killed Sunday following a pipeline explosion within Olugboboro environment in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
According to Vanguard, the pipeline is owned by Nigerian Agip Oil Company NAOC.
The victims, it was learned were clamping a leaking pipeline when tragedy struck.
This is the second explosion hitting the Agip pipeline in Bayelsa state in less than 3 months..
