Bishop Matthew Kukah of the Catholic Archdiocese of Sokoto has stated that Nigeria has the potential to become a developed nation, but is hindered by several issues.
“We have no reason in Nigeria to be where we are today economically, politically and in terms of infrastructures too. Nigeria has all it needs to be a developed nation," he said on Wednesday in Kaduna.
“Our bane of development as a nation is poor management of what we have.
“We must put religious and ethnic sentiments behind us if we want the people to have a sense of the national cake," he added.
