Criticisms have been trailing Nigeria's 0-0 performance against Iran with former national team skipper Austin Jay Jay Okocha solely blaming coach Stephen Keshi for the draw in the match.

The Super Eagles opened their World Cup campaign, labouring to a goalless draw against Iran,in a game many expected them to win.

Okocha who represented Nigeria at three World Cup tournaments in 1994,1998 and 2002,among other things faulted Keshi's removal of Victor Moses in place of Shola Ameobi.

“Keshi should be held responsible for the way the team played. Before the match he said African teams are tactically not disciplined and he did not bring anything new to the table.

“I think it was a wrong substitution,” Okocha said in his punditry role on satellite station,Supersports.

“The team still lacked creativity until Osaze (Odemwingie) was introduced.”

Keshi will be hoping to silence his critics when the Super Eagles play their next game against Bosnia
