A bomb blast at a church in Egypt has killed 21 people and wounded dozens who had gathered for Palm Sunday mass.
About 50 people were wounded in the blast, which struck the Mar Girgis Coptic Church in the Nile Delta City of Tanta, 120km north of Cairo, state media reported.
Copts, who make up about one tenth of Egypt's population of more than 92 million, have been targeted by several attacks in recent months.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility and the cause of the blast was not known.
