Alhaji Kashim Shettima of Borno state has sacked his entire cabinet on Friday.
LEADERSHIP reported that the sack came at a time when Shettima’s political appointees were tendering their resignations amidst the simmering political controversy between himself and his former godfather, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff.
Political associates of the governor welcomed the sack, they described it as a development that was long overdue.
The new cabinet which will be formed soon is expected to help the All Progressives Congress, APC secure the Borno government house come 2015.
