Sahara Reporters newspaper says General Muhammadu Buhari, the Presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) called the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye to ask for his blessings before he finally announced Professor Yemi Osinbajo as his running mate.
Apparently, Buhari's aide informed the online journal that Adeboye blessed the Buhari-Osinbajo team over the phone and wished them a successful campaign.
Sahara Reporters says: "Osinbajo is one of Pastor Adeboye’s close confidants at the RCCG, where Osinbajo is a pastor, and also a church compere for major events."
