The return of President Muhammadu Buhari after more than 100 days in the United Kingdom has altered political calculation of the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Chief Sam Nkire stated this on Monday while reacting to the news of President Buhari’s return.
He said there was evidence that the leadership and members of the PDP had been forced to swallow their words about taking over government in 2019 from the APC.
He said some members of the opposition party agreed that President Buhari’s return had altered their electoral calculations and dislocated their plans for 2019, making it imperative for them to tinker with their game plan.
He said President Buhari’s return would quicken the speed of the train taking Nigeria to the promised land through radical changes in strategy and policy execution to the admiration of the people.
