Six African countries and India on Monday joined participants at the ongoing Nigeria’s Centenary Trade Fair in Abuja.
The African countries - Egypt, Zimbabwe, Senegal, Mozambique, Ghana and Burkina Faso - have already erected stands and exhibited their products at the fair ground on Airport Road.
India, which is represented by Noor International, a company involved in the manufacturing of kitchen equipment, has also joined in the exhibition of products.
Products displayed by the African countries are mainly arts and crafts, clothes, leather works, foods and beverages, herbal products and other traditional items.
NAN also reports that although 10 states registered to participate in the fair, only four - Lagos, Kano, Oyo and Kaduna - had arrived as at Monday. Federal Government agencies and tertiary institutions have also taken positions at the fair.
